Nicolas Chartier

Nicolas Chartier one of the Academy Award® winning producers of The Hurt Locker has been involved in the financing, production and sales of a diverse range of films. In 2005, he founded Voltage Pictures, an international financing, sales and production operation. Chartier has handled over 150 films in the past 6 years. The Hurt Locker was Voltage Pictures’ first in-house production and claimed 6 Oscars in 2009, including Best Picture. Chartier’s recent production Dallas Buyers Club was awarded two Oscars for the performances of Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto. He also produced Don Jon, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's acclaimed directorial debut, starring Gordon-Levitt himself, Scarlett Johansson, and Julianne Moore.
