Patrick Wachsberger’s career in the motion picture industry spans more than 30 years, during which he has established a reputation as one of the leading international film executives in the world. He is Co-Chairman of the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, joining the Company when Lionsgate acquired Summit Entertainment in January 2012. Mr. Wachsberger, along with Motion Picture Group Co-Chairman Rob Friedman, oversees all aspects of Lionsgate’s feature film acquisition, production and distribution and is responsible for growing Lionsgate’s motion picture business around the world. Lionsgate’s feature film slate has generated an average of nearly $2 billion at the global box office each of the past four years, led by the global blockbuster Hunger Games franchise, the Now You See Me and Divergent series, the hit thriller Nerve, the critically-acclaimed Sicario, the action thriller John Wick and The Age of Adaline. During Mr. Wachsberger’s tenure, Lionsgate has grossed more than $1 billion at the international box office for three years in a row.
