Helen Lee-Kim is a respected industry veteran, one of the highest-ranking female executives at Lionsgate and a member of the Motion Picture Group leadership team. She is responsible for leading the company’s international motion picture business and oversees a film slate that has generated nearly $10 billion at the global box office over the past five years.
s. Lee-Kim manages a global distribution infrastructure encompassing output deals and partnerships with leading distributors around the world. In addition, she works closely with Lionsgate UK and IDC - Lionsgate’s joint venture in Latin America and oversees the Company’s growing film activities in China and India. In addition to in-house productions, Ms. Lee-Kim also oversees the business of representing films for key third-party producers in the international marketplace. She is also focused on expanding international co-production opportunities.
Ms. Lee-Kim has worked with leading film industry entrepreneur Joe Drake for nearly 15 years, joining him first at Mandate Pictures, then working with him at Lionsgate during their first tour of duty at the studio, then leaving to partner in building Good Universe and returning to Lionsgate last October. Ms. Lee-Kim heads a team with unparalleled knowledge of the international film marketplace, strong relationships with best-in-class talent and expertise in creating bold, original films that resonate with a global audience.
Lionsgate’s upcoming film slate includes the eagerly-anticipated Kingkiller Chronicle, directed by Sam Raimi and executive produced by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the third installment of the hit action franchise John Wick: Chapter Three, and the star-driven comedy Flarsky, starring Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron.
