Steven Neubauer ist seit Februar 2014 Mitglied der Unternehmensleitung der NZZ-Mediengruppe und seit Januar 2015 Geschäftsführer des Geschäftsbereich NZZ Medien. Er leitet den Geschäftsbereich zusammen mit dem Chefredaktor der Neuen Zürcher Zeitung Eric Gujer. Seit Juli 2016 leitet er zusätzlich interimistisch die NZZ Media Solutions, den Werbevermarkter der NZZ Mediengruppe. Zuvor war Steven Neubauer Associate Partner im Zürcher Büro von McKinsey & Company und Mitglied der Leitung der europäischen Medien- und Sport-Practice von McKinsey. Er verfügt über eine langjährige Erfahrung in der Beratung von europäischen Medien- und Telekommunikationsunternehmen. Der gebürtige Deutsche studierte Betriebswirtschaft (Marketing, Finanzen, Wirtschaftsinformatik) an der Universität Bayreuth und promovierte 2008 an der Universität Aachen im Bereich Innovationsmanagement.

Max Rheiner

Max Rheiner is head of the Master Design Interaction Program at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHDK), who has been teaching in both the bachelors and masters programs for the Department of Interaction Design, since 2006. He received his Diploma from Zurich University of the Arts in the field of New Media Arts, in 2003. The main areas of discipline that he specializes in are Embodied Interaction and Physical Computing. Of these topics, he conceived and developed the Physical Computing Laboratory for the Department of Interaction Design that has been running since 2006. In 2015 he founded the first ZHDK Spin-Off 'SOMNIACS SA', which transformed the research project 'Birdly' into a commercial product.
His research and artistic interest center on interactive experiences which utilize methods from Virtual/Augmented Reality and Immersive Telepresence. Moreover, his artistic work has been recognized and exhibited in a number of international and well-renowned venues such as the Museum of the Moving Image/USA, Sundance Film Festival/USA, Biennale Venice/Italy, Ars Electronic Linz/Austria and Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media/Japan.

Anthony Root s the Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Production at HBO Europe, responsible for all local original programming in its 15 regional markets. A graduate of Cambridge University, Antony started his career in the theatre before joining BBC Drama. He worked for the UK’s ITV, Working Title Films and was Head of Drama at major UK producer Thames Television. In 1996 Antony joined Granada Television as Head of Drama and was appointed President of Granada Entertainment USA after moving to Los Angeles in 2000. In 2005 Antony returned to the UK as Senior VP, European Production, for Sony Pictures Television. He joined HBO Europe in October 2011.

Frank Patterson is co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Pulse Evolution, a company that produces hyper-realistic digital humans for entertainment and emerging applications. He leads the company’s digital human production projects, including the exploitation of revenue share contracts with the estates of Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and Michael Jackson. Patterson produced the live production of Michael Jackson’s “Slave to the Rhythm” at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, which featured an original performance by Pulse Evolution’s computer-generated and animated human likeness of the late Michael Jackson. Patterson serves as professor and dean of the College of Motion Picture Arts at Florida State University. The “Hollywood Reporter” named him one of the nation’s top mentors to a generation of Hollywood filmmakers. Patterson's creative and research activities are currently focused at the intersection of artificial reality and artificial intelligence, with a particular interest in digital human agency.
