Zach LeBeau

Zach LeBeau is the co-founder and CEO of SingularDTV, whose mission is to build a decentralized entertainment industry that empowers creators, founded in 2014. In 2013, Zach moved to New York to become a part of the decentralization phenomenon. Zach wrote and directed his first feature film, THE SCIENTIST, starring Bill Sage. He then launched a women's luxury clothing line, building the brand from 4 stores to 110 throughout the United States and Canada. Zach was deeply influenced by an expedition to the Amazon rainforest that he took at 17, after which he spent the next 15 years living and traveling abroad to more than 50 countries on 5 continents.

Following Google, he co-founded two venture funds and invested into over 40 companies with 13+ acquisitions that include Tapulous (acq. by Disney), Posterous (acq. by Twitter), Olaworks (acq. by Intel), Scoopler (acq. by Google), ABitLucky (acq. by Zynga), Chai Labs (acq. by Facebook), Cue (acq. by Apple), Kabam, Chartboost, nWay, Wish, and others.  David is also an LP in YCombinator and SV Angel.  He is on the advisory boards of ASES (Stanford Asia-Pacific Student Entrepreneurship Society), and HPAIR (Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations).

Philip Lee is a film Producer and Financier. He has been involved many critically acclaimed and box-office hit films. Throughout his career he has worked to close the gap between US and Chinese filmmaking, from serving as a local line producer for Hollywood films in Hong Kong and China to creative-producing and financing of US-China Co-Productions. Last year he executive produced Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s "The Revenant” as well as the upcoming Justin Kurzel’s “Assassin’s Creed” together with his producing-partner Markus Barmettler. Together, they formed the financing and production company Facing East Entertainment.
Facing East is currently producing Peter Segal’s “Inversion”, a $136m Sci-fi action film for which Paul Haggis wrote the script. Facing East is also developing “Shipbreaker”,  an adventure sci-fi film based on the same titled award winning book written by American Writer Paolo Bacigalupi to be scripted and directed by Paul Haggis.
His prior credits include: Tom Tykwer and The Wachowskis’ "Cloud Atlas", Chris Nolan’s "The Dark Knight", Ang Lee’s "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", Chen Kaige's "The Emperor and The Assassin", Zhang Yimou’s "Hero" and Ronny Yu’s "Fearless". He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Arts at Nihon University in Japan, a Master of Fine Arts in Producing from The American Film Institute (AFI), and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Akshay Mehta

Akshay Mehta is a Media Finance Agent at leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Mehta is based in the Los Angeles office and specializes in film financing and distribution.

Prior to joining CAA in May, Mehta was Vice President of International Sales for Good Universe. Janus Metz is a Danish director and documentary filmmaker. Alongside finishing a Master’s degree in Visual Anthropology he moved to South Africa and filmed his debut documentary Township Boys (2005). Shortly after this he made the double feature film project Love on Delivery (2008) and Ticket to Paradise (2008), which won the prize for ‘Best Documentary’ at Nordic Film Days. Metz went on to direct the episode “Maybe Tomorrow” of the critically acclaimed TV-series True Detective and is now presenting his narrative feature debut Borg/McEnroe, the opening film of both the 13th Zurich Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival.

Prior to that she worked in the film industry in various positions including as a lawyer for the German national film fund - Filmförderungsanstalt (FFA) in Berlin and then as the acting director of the FFA.
